Configuring Read Receipts for Incoming Emails in Microsoft 365 Mailbox

Overview

This article explains how to configure the options for sending out read receipts for incoming emails when using a mailbox hosted on Microsoft 365 (previously known as Microsoft Office 365).

 

Solution

  1. Log in to Microsoft 365 Outlook webapp.
  2. Click on the Settings icon on the top-right menu and select the View all Outlook settings option.

  3. Go to Mail > Message handling.
  4. Under the Read receipts section, select the desired configuration.
  5. Click on the Save button.
