Overview
This article discusses the thoughts, steps and compatibility to keep in mind when investigating upgrading Microsoft Exchange in the environment.
Information
The main point of concern when dealing with upgrades of this type is compatibility. As such, the first thing to check will be that the system meets all of the system requirements. Operating System, Exchange compatibility, and disk space should be verified to be compatible with the new release.
This could include situations where the current release of the product you are running is not compatible with later releases of Microsoft Exchange or other applications. In these cases it will be required to upgrade Archiver to a compatible release.
As for the Microsoft Exchange upgrade itself this will be outside the scope of GFI Support. If you require assistance with the Exchange upgrade itself we suggest referring to the Microsoft Technet articles.
