GFI Archiver ships with five predefined roles, two of which offer different levels of Full Access.

- This article explains these Full Access Roles and shares the process for assigning Full Access roles to users in GFI Archiver.
Process
Depending on your requirements, assign a Full Access role as follows:
- Go to Configuration.
- Click Roles and Permissions.
- The Roles and Permissions page is divided into two windows.
- The Roles and Permissions page is divided into two windows.
- In the Manage Role Assignments area, click Assign Role.
- In the User/Group field, select a user.
- In the Role field, select one of the two full access roles available in the drop-down menu.
- The selected user or group is added to the list with the option remove before saving.
- Click Save.
- Go to Configuration > Roles and Permissions to verify whether the role you just added appears credited with the newly assigned role.
