Messages are not being archived, and the following error is found in the event logs:
Event ID 6310
Plugin LogScheduler reports exception:
Logging: Submit Failed
Additional info: The Transaction has Aborted.
This issue occurs when the Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator (MSDTC) service is either not started or was once associated with a cluster that no longer exists.
- Make sure the Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator (MSDTC) service is started.
- Navigate to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Component Services > Computers > My Computer > Properties > MSDTC.
- Verify that the "Use local coordinator" option is checked.
The message archiving process goes as expected without any errors.
