Overview
This article provides a solution to an issue where you cannot access the GFI Archiver web page after upgrading the operating system where you have GFI Archiver installed. When you have GFI Archiver installed on a server running Windows Server 2008 R2, and you upgrade it to Windows Server 2012 R2. After the upgrade, when you open the GFI Archiver web page, it fails with a "Failed to authenticate" error message and the debug log ..\Core\DebugLogs\WCFPlugin.log
contains similar errors (for different modules):
"error ","WCFPlugin","Error: Publishing 'CSService' Service. Could not load type 'System.Runtime.Diagnostics.ITraceSourceStringProvider' from assembly 'System.ServiceModel.Internals, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35'.

This error occurs because the Microsoft .NET Framework is not fully functional.
