Overview
If you have incorrect SMTP settings configured in MailArchiver, restored messages and/or email notifications will be queued in the ..\MailArchiver\Core\SMTP folders and will be sent once the SMTP settings are correctly configured.
Process
Follow the steps provided below to purge the queued messages.
- Stop all MailArchiver services.
- Navigate to ..\Program Files (x86)\GFI\MailArchiver\Core\SMTP\Pickup
- Delete any files left in this folder.
- Do the same for the ..\Core\SMTP\Queue and ..\Core\SMTP\Retry directories.
- Restart the MailArchiver services.
